The cause of patent research
The seven characteristics mentioned above are possessed by all the common V-Cone FlowMeters.But in metal industry and coal chemical industry,because of the fickle and complex ingredient of all kinds of gas,such as in blast furnace,coke oven,converter coal gas,there is too much impurity with dust ,granula,tar,naphthaline.Plus too low speed practical situation,expecially that the naphthaline and tar in coal gas can stick to the throttling component or the pressure measureing hole,and may be crystallized under low temperature.
The dust and kernal in coal gas can block flowmeters,and the water in coal gas will freeze in winter.All those may result in blockage pressure measurement hole of flowmeters ,and throttling out of shape,more seriously can make the flow not to run in pipes,which is a very bad situation.
From home and abroad,when measuring very dirty flow,measurement failure using common V-Cone FlowMeters or other kinds of flowmeters happens.For example,some steel company in NanJing used common V-Cone FlowMeter imported from some foreign company to measure coke-oven gas,finally failed because the pressure measurement passage was blocked by sticky bar and naphthaline crystal.Some steel company in ShanDong used common V-Cone FlowMeters produced by domestic company,to measure coke-oven gas,while the flowmeters couldn't work in winter because of naphthaline crystal and ice,and were forced to be removed.
