NEW different pressure flowmeter 2009-9-22

Different pressure flowmeter representitives as orifice meter,nozzle meter,venturi tube meter,has been used for hundreds of years in the flow area,with its merit as already standard,simple and firm in construction,easy to be manufactured,lower price,and good commonality.
However,orifice meter or nozzle meter has very serious shortcomings in measurement and construction,so for hundreds of years,people go on researching and improving work without ceasing.But because of the shortcoming of construction congenitally,the defects on itself have not been well solved yet.For example,its orifice coefficient is not stable,linearity worse,repetitiveness inferior,accuracy low.
The acute angle of the orifice inlet,the very key part,can be easily worn out,and its front part can be blocked easily by dirty,the measurement scale?is?small,and the lost pressure is large,the extreme demmand of the straight pipeline can't be met in the reality.
To overcome those deficiency mentioned above,people tried to make out 1/4 round orifice,awl inlet orifice,round lack orifice,skew hole orifice,V-bar orifice,changable orifice and many such non-standard throttling elements,trying to solve those problems.All those elements are with the same defects.Most of them haven't break the mode of shrinking in the center of the flow immediately,so they just improve some partial problem more or less,and can't solve the problem completely and fundamentally.
The work of improving does not develop as a breakthrough until the mid of 1980s.The V-Cone FlowMeter breaks a mode construction for hundreds of years,which made a qualitative leap in throttling type and different pressure meters.

The V-Cone FlowMeter's significant breakthrough lies in thus:It changes the flow from shrinking in the center to shrinking gradually near the verge of the pipe.That is to say,equip a tower component(throttling element) coaxially in the center,which can press the flow shrink from the center to the inner verge of the pipe and pass by the tower element,then measure the different pressure before and after the tower element in order to get the quantity of the flow.
It is the construction of shrinking near the border that makes the V-Cone FlowMeter to have a lot of merits that can't be compared by the other different pressure meters,and thoroughly overcomes lots of defects of traditional different meters respectitived by orifice.
Through decades of application and many testing datas both home and abroad,it is efficiently proved that the V-Cone FlowMeter can provide more accurious and more effective measurement to all kinds of flows(including dirty and low speed) with a wider measurement scale under a condition of too short straight pipeline.Thence a new page of the era of different pressure flowmeters has been uncovered.
It can be predected that,as people gradually get to acquire and know and be familiar with and master the V-Cone FlowMeter,it can take place of the traditional different meters respectitived by orifice gradually and completely.
